Keukenhof, Holland

romania_flagOlanda este faimoasa pentru multele tipuri de lalele. Si pentru ca locuim in Belgia, care este vecina cu Olanda, am dat o fuga pana la gradina de flori Keukenhof – celebru pentru frumoasele aranjamente florale, majoritatea cu lalele.

Am fost la Keukenhof intr-o duminica insorita de Aprilie si ma asteptam sa fie oarecum aglomerat, dar parcul este mare si, in ciuda sutelor de turisti, este liniste si gasesti un loc liber in care sa faci poze sau sa te relaxezi.

Parcul este deschis de la sfarsitul lui Martie pana la mijlocul lunii Mai. Intrarea costa 16 euro de persoana, parcarea 6 euro.

united_kingdomThe Netherlands is famous for the many types of tulips. And because we live in Belgium, which is next door to Holland, we took a trip to Keukenhof Flowerd Garden – famous for its beautiful floral arrangements, mostly with tulips.

We visited Keukenhof gardens on a sunny April Sunday and I expect it to be somewhat crowded, but the park is large and despite the hundreds of tourists, is quiet and there are less crowded areas in which to take pictures or to relax.

Keukenhof  is opened from late March to mid May. The entrance is 16 euros per person, parking 6 euros.
