The Village Museum, Bucharest, Romania
The Village Museum in Bucharest, Romania, is an open air museum about the traditional Romanian village life from the past and present. There are houses, churches, furniture and tools from their original locations. It was opened for the public in 1936 and is now one of the most touristic attractions in Romania; the queen of Belgium, Turkmenistan’s President or the Bush’s wife are some of the important visitors of the Village Museum.
It’s situated on the shore of Herastrau Lake and the atmosphere feels more like a park rather than a museum.

Thanks. You are welcome
I loved looking at these photos, it’s so good finding out info on Romania as it’s one of those countries which so seldom gets reported about in a positive manner. Great stuff, Corina.
