Lommel Sahara, Belgium

Friday was a day off in Belgium (July 21, the National Day) and (OMG!) the sky was clear and the temperature was about 22 degrees, so we made a trip to a beautiful place (which I happened to read about in a magazine in the dentist’s waiting room) :)) Lommelse Sahara. I do not understand how I have not heard of this place in my six years of living in Belgium. It is about an hour and a half drive from Brussels and is perfect for a day trip in the nature. The entrance is free, the relaxation is maximum.

I’ll leave you with the pictures and if (inspired by my post: D) you visit the place, tell me how you liked it. I liked it a lot.

This is the address of the place: De Soeverein, Sportveldenstraat 10, 3920 Lommel

It smells like pine trees and there is sand on the ground. I wonder what comes next 🙂 / Miroase a conifere si e nisip pe jos

And them comes THIS view! / Apoi urmeaza asta!

Blackberries!/ MURE!
