Porto Venere, Italy
Choosing La Spezia region instead of Milano for the last two days of our Italy trip was the best decision we could make.
At 13 km from La Spezia town is Porto Venere – a port with colorful buildings, pretty boats and a church which seems that rises directly from the sea! And from Porto Venere you can take boat trips to Cinque Terre (but about this in the next post).

The shells are so lovely! 🙂
Amazing photos and good choice, I was in La Spezia last year and its one of my favourite places in Italy. Milan is a bit blah and pales in comparison to the beauty of this place and the Cinque Terre!
I can see why you like it, it’s a beautiful region, especially Cinque Terre which is impressive 🙂
The place looks so pretty in your photos! I can almost feel the sunshine. 🙂 Hope to visit someday.
aww, I hope you do visit someday 🙂 It’s really lovely, and the sun is almost always there…that’s the beauty of Italy: warm, sunny days
I loved the Cinque Terre region! It is just one of the most beautiful places on earth!
Absolutely stunning images, Corina 🙂
Great to see the colourful buildings and sculptures along the waterways.
Thanks for sharing, have a nice day 🙂
