Namur, Belgium
This weekend I’ve visited Namur, a francophone Belgian city. It was sunny in the morning, but shortly after the typical Belgian clouds covered the sky. I don’t like to shoot in this kind of weather because the photos tend to look dark, gray and sad, but in some of the photos the clouds give a pinch of drama, so it’s not that bad after all.
The city of Namur is crossed by two rivers (Sambre and Meuse) with houses along them. On the hill there is The Citadel with a free entrance and from where you can see the whole city.

Felicien Rops Museum
Felicien Rops is a Belgian artist and in this museum in Namur you can find his work, mostly drawings based on sex, death and satanic images. The museum is not creepy. On the contrary, it can be funny and you might find yourself giggling a lot 😀

Looks a lovely place. Your photos are fantastic.
I love how dramatic those clouds look in the 7th photo. I see you’ve been to Cambodia and Thailand. If you get a chance, do come visit the Philippines. Happy travels!
Hi! thank you! That photo is my favorite 🙂
I would like to visit the Philippines some day…Have you been to Belgium yet? 🙂
Only a few hours in Brussels, and it was raining so we only ever got to visit the Grote Markt. I would love to go back someday.
The interior of the church is very interesting and different. Lovely pictures and the sky over the overall view of the city viewed from the air is very nice. Thanks for the tour of this city I have never visited. (Suzanne)
