Street Photography in Brussels

united_kingdomPeople are life, the life around us. Each individual on the street seems to be telling a story through their hair, mimics, clothes or eyes. The streets of a city are not just about the buildings, the museums and the statues. The life of a city lies in the movement, the diversity of colors, the people.

I wish to photograph people more than just a few quick shots, but is not always easy because some may notice the big camera pointing at them and could be bothered if they are being photographed. Trying to be as discreet as I can, I often lose the “right moment” for a photo. But I believe this happens to all who like to shoot street photography?! 😉

Viata unui oras se afla in miscare, in diversitatea de culori, in oameni.

  1. Great, great work!! The “Night Shot” one is spectacular. The capture of the moment, the framing, the lines, the pop of color!! Bravo.

  2. Wow – A very nice collection of street photos. I know what you mean about the difficulty of going out there with “the big camera”. It is not always easy, but you’re getting some great photos.

  3. Great series of shots…never easy to get out and shoot with the big camera as you say, but really wonderful diversity and life in these photos. The 5th and 6th shots are the two that really jump out, classic shots. Cheers!
