The Sphinx, Romania
The Sphinx is a natural rock formation at 2216 meters of altitude in the Bucegi Mountains in Romania. It’s 8 meters high and from a certain angle, the Sphinx resembles a human head, shape which was created by wind erosion in time. It can be accessed in 15 minutes by cable car from Busteni, or by foot for the hike lovers.
Sheep
On the mountain peak of Bucegi Mountains, around the Sphinx, there were flocks of sheep eating grass, away from the noise and pollution of the big cities.

Babele (The Old Ladies)
10 minutes from the Sphinx we find the famous Babele (The Old Ladies) – big rocks shaped by wind and looking like mushrooms.
